"Cheering" from Norman Rockwell's 1972 suite of four limited edition lithographs in color.  Featuring a father and son energetically cheering for their team from the bleachers while an opposing fan is seated quietly one row below. 

The images in this portfolio embody the playful and nostalgic spirit of a father and son's experiences during the boy's school aged activities.  The four themes portrayed are Cheering, Golfing, Baseball, and Studying all brought to life through Rockwell's renown skill as a photorealistic painter and attention viewpoint of the American experience.

This piece is hand signed in pencil and numbered 29 out of the edition of 200, printed on Velin d'Arches paper.  Each print bears the blindstamp of Circle Gallery Ltd. New York and was printed by Atelier Michel Casse, Paris, in 1972.
