An incredible ring to commemorate a historic season this is a ring from the Los Angeles Lakers 2000 NBA Finals victory over the Indiana Pacers. The ring was masterfully crafted by Henry Kay Jewelers / Masters of Design in 14k yellow gold with real diamonds. This ring is identical to the player rings issued to the team and was ordered as a gift by one of the team's star players. The ring features a central Lakers logo on a background of diamonds bordered by "World Champions." The right is engraved "Bling Bling" with a diamond basketball perched atop a net, and below the year "2000." The left shank features an NBA logo, the Lakers regular season and playoff records (67-15 &15-8 respectively) along with the player's name and number.
This Championship ring marks the beginning of a dynastic run for the Lakers. It was the first season of Coach Phil Jackson's tenure with the team, and the first Finals win for Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. Led by this dynamic trio the team would win three consecutive NBA Finals (2000, 2001 & 2002). Another 2000 NBA Finals ring gifted to Kobe Bryant's father recently went for nearly $1,000,000 in auction!
