In this De Luxe edition there are 17 full page plates, comprised of heliogravures and color gravures (prints) after seven prominent impressionist painter's important works.
Monet's "Les Peupliers" is one of the reproductions in color, although not a Heliogravure it is a "Color Gravure." Color was applied by the printer, at the time of printing.
The printer is listed, in the edition, as Fantin-Latour, a print house in Batignolles, Paris, France.
