This tooth belonged to Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a large carnivorous theropod dinosaur that could reach up to 45 feet in length. Although it resembled Tyrannosaurus rex in anatomy, it was even larger. This specimen was found in the Kem Kem region of the Sahara Desert in Morocco and dates back to the Cretaceous period, approximately 145-65 million years ago.
