This screener was sent to theatres by MCA to replace an earlier version, the item includes the original box and a letter from the MCA Feature Trailer Department with instructions. The reel does not appear to have been opened or played, we do not have the proper equipment to view the film, but have no reason to believe that it is damaged or otherwise unplayable.
Battlestar Galactica is one of the great sci-fi series and was a staple of late 70's television. The pilot of the series was a theatrical release and that is what this trailer was made to promote.
