Pair of typewritten letters from Albert Einstein to Professor David Bohm at the University of São Paulo in Brazil. Both letters date from the early 1950's ad each was hand signed by Einstein, however one of the autographs has been damaged by water and is no longer legible. The letter has been authenticated by Beckett with included Letter of Authenticity and framed with archival quality materials.
The first letter with the exemplary signature is dated February 9th, 1953 it appears to have been written in response to a question about interpretation theory. Einstein responds noting that his thoughts were published in a volume written for Louis de Broglie's 40th birthday and also the Max Born volume.
The second letter has the smudged signature and is dated November 24th, 1954. This letter appears to be acknowledging a stance Bohm expressed in previous correspondence, and Einstein describes how he comes to his own views using the empirical method.
