Awarded to key staff members of the organization, it commemorates the Red Wings’ second consecutive Stanley Cup victory and their place among the NHL’s elite dynasties of the late 1990s. This staff ring is notable as it is the exact same as the player issued versions. The ring was originally awarded to team Masseur Sergei Mnatsakanov, who was in the vehicle with Vladimir Konstantinov and Fetisov in the tragic 1997 limousine accident that paralyzed both Konstantinov and Mnatsakanov.
