1985 Basketball Hall of Fame ring personally awarded to Joe O'Brien, who served as Executive Director of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame starting in 1985. Under his tenure the Hall moved into its new facility in Springfield, Massachusetts, marking a major milestone under his leadership. O'Brien also was Head Coach of Assumption College from 1967-1985, and was named New England College Division's Coach of the Year three times.
