Staff ring from the 1984 Miami Dolphins AFC Championship victory that was awarded to Ticket Director Ross Paul. Crafted in 10k yellow gold with diamonds by Jostens, this ring comes from the Miami Dolphins last Super Bowl appearance and the most recent high water mark for the Dolphins. At 14-2 it was their best performance since the perfect season and this was Dan Marino's first, and only Super Bowl appearance.
In Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, the 1984 AFC Championship ring is the key clue when Ace finds a distinctive triangle-cut orange amber stone from one at the crime scene of the kidnapped dolphin Snowflake. He hilariously tracks down former Miami Dolphins players and associates from that team to find the ring missing its stone, ultimately revealing the kidnapper's identity and tying into the film's "Laces Out" revenge plot. The film did take some liberties however, as the real rings only feature diamonds and no amber stones.
