This is a first edition, second issue book by famed Northeasterner and Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Frost, titled, A Boy’s Will. The book also includes a personal letter from Robert frost that is hand signed. This was Robert Frost’s first commercially published book, and is thought to be one of just 1,000 copies. The book is in good condition and is 50 pages long. This is the second issue, binding “D” bound in cream linen paper wrappers and rubber stamped: “Printed in Great Britain” on page IV.

The two-page letter from Robert Frost is to his cousin Ellen Frost, dated November 18, 1919, detailing an upcoming visit. The letter reads, “ I haven't forgotten my appointment. One or both of us (if my wife can make up her mind to leave the children to their own devices) will be with you sometime next Monday afternoon. I have been off where your letters couldn't reach me, or I should have answered them sooner. I am looking forward to seeing you and George. George and I were not much more than boys when last we parted."

This letter was recently authenticated by Beckett and will include a Letter of Authenticity. If the book is purchased before we have received the Cert, the LOA will ship separately.
