Frank Worth; "Elizabeth Taylor in Sun Top"
This beautiful Silver Gel print comes from the International Images collection of Frank Worth photos. Silver gel is one of the most expensive forms of printmaking creating a vivid, sharp and most importantly long lasting print that will resist fading. This limited edition photo also includes the original portfolio and paperwork from the publisher.
Frank Worth was an American Photographer who befriended and photographed many Hollywood actors and actresses between 1939 – 1964. His black and white candid pictures are unusual for the era, when most stars limited themselves to carefully posed glamour portraits.
Following his passing in Los Angeles in December 2000 the family of the “Reluctant” Frank Worth waded through his unkempt bedroom in a West Hollywood apartment and found a treasure trove of incredible photographs, most of legendary Hollywood Stars. Frank Worth had recorded a personal and private vivid history of the Golden Era of Hollywood at in over ten thousand black and white and color photos and original prints, the majority never having been published, that he composed over a 25-year period.
