Dating to the Jurassic Period, this "two-for-one" vertebrate fossil from a sauropod came out of the Morrison Formation in Utah. This incredible matched pair represents a fairly complete dinosaur vertebra, which has been cut in half and polished on both inner faces. The "new" pair boasts a well-preserved trabecular structure over the smooth 'window' surfaces that display muted brownish and reddish hues. The exterior of the bone is still intact with a rocky texture and subtle morphological characteristics, such as a scooped form in the middle of two bony pieces.
