Numismatic Grading Corporation (NGC) experts graded this 1904 O Morgan Silver Dollar at the solidly collectible MS63 level. It was struck at the world-famous New Orleans Branch of the United States Mint. It has a mintage of 8,725,000 coins, many of which were melted in the early 20th Century, after World War I.
The obverse of the coin features the portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a small "Liberty" inscribed coronet. She has agricultural materials woven into her hair.
The reverse of the coin features a displayed Heraldic Eagle surrounded by a wreath of laurel. In his talons he carries arrows and an olive branch, signifying our desire for Peace but also our willingness to defend ourselves. The motto "In God We Trust" appears over the eagle in Gothic script.
