This 1907 US $5 note is from the last year of large format $5 bills. The note is known as a "woodchopper" in the collecting community, due to the pioneer family depicted in the center. The pioneer has his axe at hand next to a felled tree, while their loyal dog keeps an eye out and the mother cradles a baby.
