Collection: Family Dog & Bill Graham

The  Family Dog and Bill Graham  Numbered Poster Series

fundamentally shaped San Francisco's 1960s music landscape through their revolutionary poster campaigns. Chet Helms' Family Dog collective and Graham's Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland venues each cultivated distinctive psychedelic aesthetics that transcended commercial function, becoming celebrated fine art. They captured the visual essence of the counterculture movement and Summer of Love. Both promoter's artists elevated concert advertising into collectible artifacts, with pristine examples commanding significant collector interest.  This collection of concert promotional material represents the efforts of those artists.
