Ideal for WWII aviation enthusiasts this is a genuine WWII era aircraft compass designed for use in the Japanese military aircraft like the Zero, Kate, Irving and Ohkka. This is a Type 92, Model 2 aircraft compass made between 1939-1945 by Yokogawa Electric. The compass is functioning and still contains compass dampening fluid, the compass card rotates however the perimeter dial rotation does not. The front bottom door opens to access calibration dials, the compass calibration card is not original however.
