This piece is an original Predator illustration from the artist, Tom Biondolillo, illustrator for one book in the series of Alien vs. Predator stories published annually by Dark Horse comics between 1993-2000.

The last of the original series* was Aliens vs. Predator: Chained to Life and Death.
The story was written by a regular writer, Mark Schultz, while Tom Biondolillo illustrated.

Chained to Life and Death (1999-2000 annual) follows the story of an elder Predator who chooses to retire from the hunt at the peak of his legend.  On his final hurrah his mission is to hunt the infamous Aliens.
This story was a bit of a break from the preceding Alien vs. Predator stories in that it was more similar to the stand alone Predator comics, exploring the responsibility and expectations that accompany legendary status in the Predator culture.
Biondolillo's work appears in this annual but also in the re-printed Dark Horse Comic's collections; Alien vs. Predator: OMNIBUS (2007), Alien vs. Predator: Whoever Wins.. We Lose (2005), Alien vs. Predator: The Essential Comics (2019).

Biondolillo was also responsible for full illustration on three projects produced by Caliber Comics: Mythology's Mistress, Negative Burn, and Saint Germaine.
In addition to graphic novel illustrations he has worked as a concept and pre-production artist, storyboard artist, designer, illustrator, comic artist, animator, industrial model maker and designer, and even writing.
His works can be found in the Okeefenokee and Savannah National Wildlife Refuges, Wild Adventures Amusement Park, Artisan Entertainment, Peevey Electronics, Burger King, Hasbro/ Wizards of the Coast, Resaurus Toys, Palisades Toys, Zanimation, Granada Designs, CCP/ White Wolf, Alderac Entertainment Group, West End Games, SJ Games, FASA, Pinnacle Entertainment, and Desperado Press.
He has worked professionally on advertising, animations, role-playing games, graphic novels, toys, etc. for products and properties including Star Wars, Tales of the Jedi, Aliens, and Aliens vs. Predator, Vampire VTES, Mage, Scion, Swords and Sorcery, Dragonlance, Duke Nuk’em, Myst, GURPS, Steam Punk, FRAG, Cardboard Heroes, The Weird West, Crucible, Shadow Run, Legends of the Five Rings, Legends of the Seven Seas, and Legends of the Burning Sands, and many more.

*One more four part series, Alien vs. Predator Xenogenesis (1999), was added to Alien vs. Predator OMNIBUS (2007).  Composed of three loosely interconnected stories, Xenogenesis formed the Predator component of Dark Horse's franchise-crossing event in 1999.  It was released in conjunction with Aliens: Xenogenesis and Aliens vs. Predator: Xenogenesis, and was not a part of the Alien vs. Predator annual series.
