Bronko Nagurski played both fullback and defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears from 1930-37 and then again in 1943, due to the shortage of players caused by WWII. Nagurski was a feared presence, at 6'2 and 235 he was one of the largest running backs of the era, going on to become World Heavyweight Champion in the National Wrestling Association after his NFL career.
