About

This iconic psychedelic poster, affectionately dubbed "Creamsicle" for its distinctive orange and cream palette, was designed by legendary artist Gary Grimshaw to announce Cream's debut performance at Detroit's prestigious Grande Ballroom venue under promoter "Uncle" Russ Gibb's direction. Recognized as one of the most coveted psychedelic concert posters from the 1960s, it commands the same reverence as the celebrated San Francisco venue posters of that era.

This second printing offers superior durability compared to the fragile first edition, printed on thicker, more resilient paper. It features Gary Grimshaw's copyright mark in the lower left corner and provides collectors with an accessible alternative to rare and costly original printings of this landmark psychedelic poster.
