Saturday Morning Cartoon Memories | Original Raggedy Ann & Andy Animation Cel
This authentic animation cel and corresponding original sketch are from the hand-drawn 1980's Saturday morning animation anthology, The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy, based on the dolls created by Johnny Gruelle and produced by CBS Entertainment and the Michael Bandy Company. Both the cel and sketch are offered as originally framed with a GRS and Associates issued Certificate of Authenticity.
Appearing originally as an anthology episode for CBS storybreak, The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy earned their own syndicated show and a spot on the storied CBS Saturday morning cartoon lineup. The show premiered in September of 1988 in honor of the characters' 70th anniversary and lasted for 13 episodes.
