Manufactured in 1977 Colt Second Generation Model 1851 Navy black powder revolver is a reproduction of Colt's classic 19th-century percussion revolver. It features a six-shot cylinder, octagonal barrel with the marking “ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY,” case-colored frame, blued barrel and cylinder, polished metal trigger guard and backstrap, and a smooth reddish-brown wooden grip. The frame is stamped “COLTS PATENT,” and matching serial number 29020 is visible on multiple components.
