Set of original proof political cartoons from the political satirist Burris Jenkins (1897-1966). Jenkins worked at the New York Journal American as their editorial and sports cartoonist from 1931-1966. These are all original artworks done in crayon and pencil with various editorial notes on the margin. The cartoons are primarily centered on Cold War era issues during the early 60's. A fascinating collectible that will make a great addition to any history collection.
