The Marina Picasso Estate: Authorized Lithographic Masterworks
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the Marina Picasso Estate released a prestigious collection of color lithographs to bring her grandfather’s private masterpieces to a global audience. Published in collaboration with Jackie Fine Arts in New York these "after" lithographs were meticulously hand-rendered by master chromist Marcel Salinas, who had collaborated with Picasso during the artist’s lifetime. Printed on Arches paper and strictly limited to 500 of each image, these lithographs are each hand signed by Marina Picasso and bear the “Collection Marina Picasso” embossed stamp.
The lithographs are significant collection pieces, as they feature interpretations of rare oils and drawings from Pablo Picasso’s personal collection that were never intended for public sale during his life.
