Iconic Main Stream Rock and Roll...

Evolved from it's roots in idealism and the psychedelic counterculture while experiencing enormous financial success by the end of the 1960s.  This culminated at Woodstock and was exemplified by it's iconic poster as well as the financial gains and acceptance of it's participants.  A new era of exploitation had emerged with it's own powerful establishment.  No longer was the genre just for the idealistic youth, Rock and Roll had gone main stream.  The Rock and Roll concert posters evolved, created by familiar artists and new alike, they mirror music's evolution.
