This is a rare collectible knife set made by Gerber in the 1980's to commemorate knife maker R.W. Loveless. Made with premium quality steel, these knives boast superior sharpness and edge retention. Gerber only made 1000 of these sets which contain three knives, a Guardian II with 6-3/4 inch blade, a Guardian I with 4-3/4 inch blade and a Guardian Back-up with 3-1/2 inch blade. All knives have a satin finish and "DESIGN BY" / "R. W. LOVELESS" etching. The set includes the original sheaths and other accessories, housed in a separate compartment underneath. The set is housed in a very nice maple wood case with "Gerber Guardian Set" and "R. W. Loveless Edition" imprinted on the top.
