Peligro, the band's longest-serving drummer, passed away on October 28, 2022. His signature on this guitar, alongside those of Biafra, East Bay Ray, and Klaus Flouride, represents all four members of the lineup that played together from 1981 until 1986. With Peligro gone, no new item can ever carry all four signatures again, which makes surviving examples like this one increasingly difficult to find.

Formed in San Francisco in June 1978 when East Bay Ray placed an ad in The Recycler looking for bandmates, Dead Kennedys became one of the most influential and controversial acts in American punk. Their 1980 debut, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, is considered a landmark of the genre, and Jello Biafra's biting political lyrics set the band apart from their peers. Peligro joined in 1981 replacing original drummer Ted, this new lineup went on to record the albums In God We Trust, Plastic Surgery Disasters, Frankenchrist, and Bedtime for Democracy.

Notes: Does not inlcude a guitar case, will ship with JSA Letter of Authenticity and photos of the band signing various memorabilia for the original owner.
