Was plagued the Durotriges, like most of the British islands throughout the era. Invasions ran rampant with Julius Caesar invading the southeast region of the island, and the southwest region being invaded by the second legion Augusta, commanded by Vespasian. Prior to Roman take over, the Durotriges were issuing coins including this one.
