This rare 1934-A Series $10 Emergency WWII Issue is a unique piece of United States history. Issued to US troops for their 'Operation Torch' campaign against North Africa, the bill came with a yellow seal instead of the usual blue seal on Silver Certificates. This measure allowed the US to identify the bills as worthless if they fell into enemy hands.
