If you can't bring your item here unfortunately we can't do business as store policy requires all transactions to take place in the shop.

Q. What time are you open?
A. The showroom is open 9am to 9pm daily. But you can always sell at our Pawn Window, open 24 hours a day.
Q. Are you ever closed?
A. The Showroom is closed only 2 days per year; Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Our Pawn Window is open 24/7 Year round.
Q. What’s the address, where should I park?
A. We are located at 713 Las Vegas Blvd. So. Las Vegas, NV 89101. You can park in the lots on either the North or South side of the building, and parking is always free. Just tell the parking attendant you are there to sell an item, if you are a local you can show your Nevada ID to the doorman and skip any line.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Your item and a current, Government Issued ID. If you have any other documents, certificates of authenticity etc. for your item please bring them as well.
Q. Can I send an item to you to look at and maybe buy from me?
A. NO, DO NOT SEND US YOUR ITEMS. We get so many letters and gifts from fans in the mail it is impossible for us to separate them out. Any items mailed to us without specific prior approval from a manager are assumed to be gifts and we are not responsible for returning them.
Q. I'm in another State/Country, is it worth bringing my item down?
A. In most cases due to the volume of submissions we are unable to review items in advance. We receive hundreds of submissions every day and most we are unable to respond to as we give priority to customers who are in the shop. Your best bet if you want to sell an item is to just bring it to the shop and see if we are interested. If you want to check with us before bringing an item down email firstname.lastname@example.org with pictures, item information (please provide as much info as possible) and your asking price. Please only email us if this is something you are ready to sell or pawn and will be able to bring to Las Vegas within the next 1-2 months. Please note we cannot agree on a final price until physically viewing the item, allow 1-2 weeks for us to review your email, no follow up is necessary. If you don't hear back from us we apologize but we are not interested in your item. Due to the massive volume of items we receive our small staff is only able to respond to items we are interested in. We are always buying luxury watches, jewelry, gold and silver coins and bullion just bring them down.
Q. What is the best time to come to the shop but avoid the long line?
A. If you have an item to pawn or sell you always get to skip the line! Just tell our door person that you are here to sell/pawn us an item and you can skip the line. As far as slow times go they are usually in the morning between 9-10:30am or evenings after 5pm. Nevada residents always get past the line even if you are just visiting to look around, just show your NV ID to the doorman!
Q. Do I need to make an appointment for you to look at my item?
A. No appointments are necessary.
Q. Is there any way you guys can come to me?
A. If you are in the Las Vegas valley, and have a large collection, mobility impairment, work obligations etc. preventing you from getting to the shop, in special cases we can send a broker to visit you. Please email email@example.com and put *Vegas resident requesting vist* in the subject line. As stated above, due to volume we can only get back to you if we are interested, no follow up is necessary. Please note this is only available in Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City, NV.
Q. I just want help identifying an item or can you tell me what it's worth?
A. Unfortunately we don't offer appraisal services and cannot value/identify/appraise any item that is not in the store. Please understand we are just a small family business and the sheer volume would overwhelm our small staff. You can try local antique shops, collectible stores, museums or the internet to determine the price of your items. For Art items, we have had a longstanding relationship with Icon Fine Arts & Chad Sampson, an art dealer and IFAA appraiser we use for many of our transactions. Chad is also regularly featured as the art expert on "Pawn Stars". When you click on the link below you will be redirected to his website. Please note, this is an unaffiliated, third party appraisal service and as such Gold & Silver Pawn Shop makes no warranties or representations as to the accuracy of any appraisals or opinions you may receive.
ITEM CATEGORY INFO
ART: Generally we are only buying original or limited edition works, pieces numbered xx/1000 for example. If this is an item you can bring to the shop, before visiting us it is best to email firstname.lastname@example.org pictures and any info you have on the piece. They will let you know if we are interested.
COINS: We buy all third party graded and encapsulated coins, as well as any silver, gold, platinum or palladium coins & bullion. If coins are not graded we will buy them for their precious metal value only.
SIGNED ITEMS: We require a Certificate or Letter of Authenticity on all signed Items! We prefer the COA to be issued by one of the following companies, JSA, PSA/DNA, Beckett Authentication, or ACE. If you do not have a COA you can go to any of these companies websites to get your item evaluated. Steve Grad autograph expert from “Pawn Stars” also authenticates in our store about every other month. Check “News & Press” above or our Facebook for the next dates.
FURNITURE: We do not buy furniture pieces even if they are antiques as we do not have the floor space.
RECORDS: We do not buy LP's or CD's.
SPORTS CARDS: We are only in the market to buy graded cards from the 60's or older.
BEANIE BABIES: We do not buy any Beanie Babies, even rare or limited edition ones.
SUNGLASSES, SHOES, DESIGNER BAGS: We do not buy these.
FIREARMS: Due to Federal Regulations, we can only buy weapons manufactured in 1898 or before.
APPLE PRODUCTS/ELECTRONICS: Be ready to remove any AppleID’s or other passwords at the counter. All electronics must be fully logged out of any accounts and not password protected.
LOAN PROCESS & TERMS
Just looking for a loan? We are always happy to pawn your items here is how it works...
- After you bring your item in we settle on a amount that we will loan you today for your item. The Loan contract will be written for 90 days and you will be paid in cash.
- We Charge 13% every 30 days the loan is outstanding. Any period from 1-30 days will still be charged the same amount. (Active Duty Military members only pay 3%)
- A one time $5 Fee will also be charged with every new loan, and a $4 lost ticket fee will be assessed if you require a new pawn ticket.
- If you do not come back to claim your item before the 90 day loan period expires you can still pick up your item if we still have it in inventory. You will simply pay the additional interest and a $10 late fee.
- Only Cash, Money Order or Cashiers Check is accepted as payment on a loan.
- If you are not in town we can arrange payment via mail, just mail us a copy of your ticket, ID and a cashiers check or money order. A new ticket will be mailed back to you.
- We can also mail your item back after a mail payment, just call us first so we can give you the shipping total to add to your final payment.
- Pick up your items 24/7 at our night window, just call us during normal business hours 9-5 so we can have your item pulled from the safe and available after hours.
