This historic knife is a rare WWII Warther fighting knife made by American knife-maker Ernest Mooney Warther in 1944. The original scabbard is stamped with 'E.Warther, Dover-O.-U.S.A. 1944' and features unique chevron cut-outs. This knife was made as part of the WWII war effort where the government ordered fighting knives for the military from many small batch knife and tool makers. A must-have for any knife collector.
