Playskool is an American company that produces educational toys and games for children, established in 1928 by Lucille Ruler and another educator from Wisconsin. During the early 1930s, the enterprise was acquired by a Chicago company, which changed its title to Playskool Inc. In 1938, Playskool was obtained by the Joseph Amble Co., another Chicago company.
