This drawing was only the beginning, and each meeting over the next few weeks brought out more and more ideas. No one was allowed to hold back or to say “No”. Everyone worked together checking drawings, investigating other approaches, making suggestions, until the best possible staging evolved and at an angle the animator could draw. This process was hard on the ego of the inspirational artist who had made the initial drawing, but the team usually brought the best result in the end.
