Here we have an antique Hunting Mirror Decoy. The wind-up enables the top part of the decoy to spin. The idea is that the glinting of the mirrors helps lure prey in, attracting them to the reflecting lights and making them an easier target. This piece is a great collectible for hunters.

The piece does appear to have been repainted and decorated.
