Charles Boyer; Toontown
Charles Boyer accepted a temporary job at Disneyland as a portrait sketch artist in the fall of 1960 and remained there for 39-years. He had the unique distinction of having been Disneyland’s first full-time artist and eventually was elevated to become Disneyland’s master illustrator. He captured in his work the unique and fanciful spirit of Disney Characters and theme park environments.
This is a beautiful, limited-edition lithograph by Charles Boyer. Featuring an illustrated map of Toontown and was created to celebrate the opening of the new land in 1989, done as a cross promotion with Long’s Drug Store. This is number 223 of 500 prints.
