Vintage Disney themed barrel organ piano from the 1930's. Though an unauthorized themed item this piano is still desirable among Disney collectors. This piece originated in Europe which did not have Disney licensed merchandise at the time so local companies made their own merchandise.

A barrel piano is a forerunner of the advanced player piano. Unlike the pneumatic player piano, a barrel piano is ordinarily fueled by turning a hand wrench, though coin-operated models fueled by clockwork were utilized to supply music in foundations such as bars and cafés. Barrel pianos were well known as road performers, who looked for novel instruments that were also highly convenient. They are regularly confused with barrel organs but are very distinctive instruments.

Condition Report: This preowned barrel piano shows natural wear and tear such as chipped wood on the top corner, scrapes, and dings. There is also a tear in the cloth on the front (see photos). For more information regarding the condition of this item please contact us directly.
