Ball & Bro. Chicago Card Cutting Device

This item is a device used by gambling cheats to cut cards for the purpose of identifying specific cards.

Card trimmers were used by professional cheats to help identify specific cards in a deck without other players or dealers knowing.

The trimmer cuts the card by 1/32 of an inch along each side. The difference is slight but can be noticed when looking for it.

Once a card is trimmed, the corners must be re-rounded using a corner rounder, to make the cards look untouched.

Some cheats will even re-box and reseal a deck as if it were brand new.

This item is in good condition for its age.
