About

A historic season for the Seminoles, this team was the first in NCAA history to start the pre-season #1 and remain there throughout the entire season, finishing with a perfect 12-0 record. The defeat of a Michael Vick led Virginia Tech earned the Florida State squad what is considered by collectors to be the most beautiful NCAA championship ring ever made. This player issued ring is made of gold with cubic zirconia inlays. This is one of the last NCAA rings made in gold due to a rule change with the association. The roster was filled with numerous players who would go on to long professional careers in the NFL among them Anquan Boldin, Alonzo Jackson, and Sebastian Janikowski.
