Product Description

1987 Washington Redskins Superbowl Championship Ring

In a wild reversal the Redskins won Superbowl XXII 42-10 after going scoreless in the 1st quarter and giving up 10 points! The Redskins went on to hold John Elway’s Broncos scoreless for the rest of the game and clinched their 2nd of 3 Championships. Led by QB Doug Williams, who made history by becoming the first African American QB to ever start an NFL championship game. Of other historical importance this was the first season ever affected by a player strike and as such only a 15 game regular season was played.

A masterfully crafted ring by Tiffany Co., this was the widest Super Bowl ring ever made until the 2003 Patriots. Includes the original box made of pigskin, an incredibly rare find this box sells for upwards of $3,000 on its own!
