Rick said it best when he said, “you never know what is gonna come through that door!” Check out what came in last night! $500 and $1000 dollar bills! These are super rare to find, espcially since they haven’t been made in years! A lot of folks thing these are still in print, you wouldn’t believe how many people sell stuff to the shop and ask for “large bills” expecting $500′s or $1000′s. However, out of print and hard to find currency is a favorite of the pawn shop so when these walked in we couldn’t turn them down. Check out the photos below, thats our resident currecny guy Mike!

just curious, collector value aside, are those still legal tender, even though they don’t print them anymore? can you walk into a bank and get face value?
Kevin, I do not believe they are legal tender that is accepted, say, at the super market, but I believe a bank will give you face value.
Has anyone ever seen a $100,000 bill? Supposedly they exist with a picture of President W. Wilson on it. Just wondered.
Reg, the $100,000 bill is a Gold Certificate, not regular currency.
