The Patron Saint Of Pawning!

Do pawnbrokers have a Saint?  You bet cha!  But you can rest assured knowing that it’s not St. Rickolas, St. Corilas, St. Chumlas, or the Old Saint himself! Truth be told, Saint Nicolas is the patron saint of pawnbrokers; the symbolism of …the three balls or spheres associated with pawnbrokers has also been connected with his gift of three bags of coins to the three daughters of a poor man so that they could marry. Hanging or displaying the three spheres above the doors of pawn  shops is a tribute to, and a symbol of good luck from, none other than Saint Nicholas. SHOULD WE DECIDE TO AWARD ONE OF OUR PAWN STARS “SAINT” STATUS….WHO SHOULD WE CHOOSE????
