Thank You Pawn Stars

This is a letter from Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada and we wanted to post it for you all to read.

Thank you Pawn Stars!

Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN) thanks Rick and the guys for their generous donation of a Steve Kaufman painting valued at $9k to be auctioned at the Annual Gala, Oct.2 at the Palazzo Hotel.

Volunteers in Medicine www.vmsn.org is a 501-3-c non-profit organization that provides FREE quality healthcare to Southern Nevada’s working and recently laid off uninsured who fall below the federal poverty levels and do not qualify for state or federal programs.

These are our friends, families and neighbors that have worked hard their whole lives and are now doing without their insulin and high blood pressure medications because of the current economic times.  VMSN provides free quality primary care, medications, basic blood testing and x-rays at no cost to patients.

All six colleges and universities in Southern Nevada have affiliation agreements with VMSN and students rotate through the clinic to learn from the more than 400 volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and administrative personnel that provide treatment with a “Culture of Caring” philosophy.

The Pawn Stars have demonstrated their commitment to Las Vegas by their generosity and continued support of Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada.   To learn more about VMSN, donate or purchase tickets to the Gala visit www.vmsn.org or email Mario@vmsn.org or call 702-967-0531

Hey, that’s great guys. Is that why that item wasn’t for sale?

  2. Rick,
I tried to send a e-mail but it said the site was no longer accepting e-mails here my original text!

I am an avid stamp collector and have found a scott#594 Ben Franklin and would like to sell it if you would be interested in it. It is in used condition and heavy hinged but the last one I saw at auction went fairly high! If you are at all interested let me know! It came in a hardback stamp collecting book from 1941 I will be more than happy to send pictures if you would like to see the whole book. The problem I’m having is I live in Arkansas and no one seems to know anything about stamps in my area! Thanks! A.J.

  3. I just watched the Bob Dillon Album episode and laughed my butt off.

In 2001 I lost my father who owned his own business also and watching Rick and the “Old Man” is like getting to see my pops again every week.

Thanks much for letting your Business be part of our reality television entertainment – you’re real deals as well as the fun stuff like the Dillon Album are always interesting.
