For a place that deals in old items this is one of the oldest we have, a genuine tooth from a Woolly Mammoth recovered during mining operations in Alaska. A beautiful piece on an attractive wood display this is the perfect purchase for that person who has everything.
The woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) is a species of mammoth that lived during the Pleistocene epoch, and was one of the last in a line of mammoth species. Mammoths were a big part of our Human history, without the mammoth a lot of us would have never survived the Ice Age. We used them for food , shelter, and tools. As such we see them depicted in some of the earliest human art.
Please note we only have a small quantity of these so your item may be slightly different than the one pictured. However, they are all molars and will be of similar size and on an identically styled base.
