  1. If you ask me, I think the entire shop ought to play a joke on Corey. Tell him the shop went under and he needs to get a regular job. Or he did something to get audited. Something. But get him good!

I think Corey should stop being so disrespectful towards Rick, it’s not cute or entertaining. He comes across as a cocky little brat. As for the Ford, he should not be driving it around, it’s an item for sale and should be treated as such, not to mention that it is super expensive and easily damaged…Corey looked like a little brat again, not entertaining. My husband and I will not be watching if this behavior of Corey’s continues.

  3. Thank-you for ruining a show I injoyed watching until recently. I don’t know if Cory is following a script or is just a jerk but either way I won’t be watching Pawn Stars again. I liked the show because I learned something new each epaisode and everyone got along most of the time but now it’s just to stressfull to watch anymore. I watch TV to escape the stress of everyday life not to get even more stressed out. Even if Cory is following a script he is a jerk for doing it. I would never treat my father with such disrespect on national TV for any amount of money. I’ll find something else to watch during pawn stars.

    A very unsatisfied customer

  4. Pawn Stars is such a great show. Rick and the Old Man a great to watch. I have never written into a show before but I have been getting more and more annoyed by Cory. He has always had a pretty shitty personality and an ego that grates my nerves. Lately he has been a huge jackass. Stealing his dads lunch wasnt funny or even interesting. He takes his dads lunch then buys him some crummy replacement and gives Rick an attitude telling him that its his fault Cory had to take it. Cory is so bored and a complete dork that the only thing that could entertain his immature mind is stealing his dads food and giving it away. I really dont care what Cory does with his day and would prefer to watch Rick deal with customers and you can throw Cory in here and there (even though he talks to people like a dickhead and its hard to watch people forced to even deal with him) but please dont go down the road and concentrate on Cory at all. he is not what i think is good about the show and i would hate to just get fed up and lose it.

  5. Cory is just one big ass jerk. I think the show would be better without him. I get tired of his mouth and the what he treat the other people on the show. The disrepect he shows toward his elders is just wrong. He acts more like a little baby instead of a partner.

  6. I was not happy. The show seems to get more and more silly. BHoss would never be that disresectfull taking a 70k car for joy rides, stealing Rick’s lunch just to make his super angry. It started out with Chum acting like a fool…just unbelievable to me…if this continues I will just stop watching as it is just too stupid.

  7. Too bad you folks think that way. There’s a lot of pressure in that place and Corey’s just spreading his wings. If you people had been watching for the last couple of years, the guys are all rough on each other. His behavior is probably a combination of boredom, angst and defense. I watch the relationships that these guys have, and you know that two of the coolest satellite guys on the show, Rick from Restorations and Danny from Counts’ Customs, you’ll see that they have respect for Corey. You can see it in their handshakes. Corey’s losing weight, he’s become a partner, and his responsibilities have grown. He’s becoming someone else, and what you’re seeing is a snapshot into Corey’s character. With the educational assistance from his dad, the maturity guidance and steering from Danny, the growth and maturity of Chum Lee on his own (having him bring a sandwich and cola during Corey’s night shift was genius), Corey has a real chance at becoming a superstar of the Gold and Silver domain. I say we put Rick on a honeymoon out of the country, put Pops and Chum out to California for a couple of days, have two large pawn shops go out of business and let Corey be the hero by buying it all cheap. Not only that, Corey should head up some new and exciting development in the pawn business this year, like opening a second location, creating the ‘online sales’ department or expanding the vehicles section of Gold and Silver with Danny as a partner. Good luck with the show, gentlemen, and especially good luck to you Corey. You are who you are and nobody but you and ‘the man’ can change that.

The pawn shop is a business…not a playground. Corey has a tolerant dad, because any
other employer would have fired him for costing his a potential big sale. Further, Rick
states his doctor said he has high blood pressure which could lead to a stroke. It is
time for Corey to be kind to Rick and be his best friend instead of this negative
competition. They need to be on the same page as to how to sell that expensive car..instead
of Corey ignoring his father and taking it out for a joy to advertise..There should be
one set of agreed rules to sell their stock.
Corey really shows a lot of knowledge and improved confidence…but ruins it by
the disrespect he shows Rick. Rick works very hard and to find his lunch gone for
five days and delight in his frustration is not funny.

They have all been disrespectful of each other from the beginning, which is not appealing. Cory has become a very arrogant jerk. Chum needs to be fired or start being productive. The Old Man needs to retire or start being someone to look up to. It is a sad and dysfunctional family. When in Vegas we visited the shop and it was not as it appears on TV. Very small and unimpressive. This family needs some lessons on humility from The Robertson family on Duck Dynasty!
