Pawn Stars New Theme Song!

History’s reality hit Pawn Stars is getting a new theme song courtesy of Lynyrd Skynyrd. (Click here for preview)

The classic rock band has recorded a custom song for the show titled “Winning Isn’t Everything,” and you can be among the first to hear it below.

A 30-second version of the song will accompany the show’s opening starting with its new run of episodes launching May 30 at 9 p.m. — that’s a Thursday, which is a new night for the show. Pawn Stars have aired original episodes on Mondays since 2009, but History is moving the show.

Also, to kick off the promotion, History is staging a “Party Like the Pawn Stars” event in Las Vegas at the Pawn Stars’ Gold & Silver Pawn Shop this Friday. Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform the new song for the first time at the event (along with their classic hits) for an hour-plus-long concert. The concert is free and History will be giving tickets out starting Monday via a local Vegas classic rock radio station KKLZ. So if you plan to be in Vegas on Friday, check that out.

  1. Nothing against Lynyrd Skynyrd in fact I’ve been a big fan for many decades but why change the theme song? The current theme song is very recognizable and catchy. When I hear it I know exactly what show is on. Will the intros and outros for commercial breaks be changed to? I love the show but I think this is a mistake. Remind the powers that be about the New Coke fiasco, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!

  2. Don’t change your theme song. Your idiots. This will be the end of Pawn Stars.
