Absolutely love the entire show, very entertaining, educational, amazed at things people bring in. When we are in Vegas we see lines around the block and never get a chance to come in. Sure hope you guys keep it going.

  2. Corey, I have a 2003 Mustage, Mach I, with a shaker hood. The car was my son’s dream car. After he was killed in a traffic accident, my husband restored the car, paint, special lights, etc. The car is beautiful, but I do not like to drive it because it reminds me of Jeff, my son. I would love to sell it but only to someone who will love it like he would. I heard you say that you wanted a Mustage. If you are interested , make an offer.
    Thanks,

  3. I saw a Pawn tars / Kounting Kars episode last night about the restoring of Ricks 1968 Bullitt replica mustang. Over the years I have seen many articles and debating how they did the sound track and how guys building replica cars can not get their 390 hp Fords to sound the same as the movie which is the recording of a chevrolet. If Rick already knows where the soundtrack came from
thats great if not have him contact me and I will tell him.

    Thanks

“BULLITT was also the first picture done with live sound (some of which was added later as needed). For example, additional sound was needed because on occasion a tire squeal was not picked up by the microphones. Bud Elkins remembers blowing the rear end of the Mustang at Willow Springs winding the gears for engine noise to be added to the soundtrack.”

      Karen,
The shop is open daily from 9am-9pm, and the pawn window is open after hours. There is nothing special you need to do to get in, admission is free.
There is usually a line out front, but if you are selling something just let the door man know and he will let you in without waiting.

If you would like you may email photos, etc of items you wish to sell to contact@gspawn.com

      Thanks!

The 68 Mustang GT driven by Steve McQueen in Bullit was a 390 Cubic Inch rated at 325 BHP. The zero to 60 time was 7.4 seconds. I have an article written by Brock Yates several years ago and he is one person who knows all about the cars used in that movie.
The Mustang could not keep up with the 440 Cubic Inch Charger, so they made some minor mods to the Mustang. I believe a larger carb and header pipes.
    Sincerely,
    Bob Studley

Sorry, I meant Peter Yates the Director of that movie.
